      Well clicking Yes helps

Depending on your browser you can normally turn off these notifications.

Two separate issues: for some reason Firefox is running so slow that I have gone back to internet explorer cos it ran so slow that I thought it would be Easter before I read one single thread. Is there an update that I might have missed which is making it go slow or not? IE is much faster than slower firefox today(am running full computer scan as well to be certain there aren't any bugs in the system.

second issue is that windows live mail usually starts up straight away when prompted to from the keyboard but the last day or two it keeps prompting me to put in the password in spite of it being memorised already. It is a pain in the backside.

It wasn't just the LB site which is why I know it is the computer and not the site.

In FF, Check your extensions as they are normally the cause of some issues.
Also you should be on version 3.6.13 as this is the latest stable release.

                  Curly

Have decided to not reccommend any of above as they all introduce extra toolbars etc and alter PC-so I ain't taking any resposibility

                  Next question:

                  Laptop & desltop Wireless Networked
Laptop got Excel 2010 Starter Edition
                  Desktop got full professional version

How do I access Laptop version from the desktop?
How do access Desktop version from laptop?

Without violating Microsoft Copyright by loading full version on Laptop also?

Simply you CANNOT, but the underlying functionality is the same anyway, assume they are both 2010.

Its the "Formulae Auditing" Toolbar I'm goung to use a lot and Starter ain't got it

If I reccommend downloading the free 60 day trial of Office onto machines with Starter version

After 60 days - will Starter Version still be there to use

BUT if you are showing others how to use Excel, are you also including this toolbar, which not everyone will have ?!

Starter ed will always be there, bit like Works..

I'm going to use 2002/2003 Screenshots with 2010 and Open Office as options also (like teaching a class with pupils speaking different languages-lol)

2002/2003 has that toolbar and Open Office has Trace Commands similar, 2010 has it which I use

My thinking was that the Formula Auditing Toolbar is an excellent way to understand other peoples stuff-like the templated examples

I use it a lot in my work designing complex stuff for building extensions & conservatories---but there again---we won't be going onto that complexity till week 52 - lol

When I loaded my 2010 Professional -- legit authorised copy (as I told you earlier £10 for priveledged peeps) it says in instructions that it detects other versions ( it don't mind 2003 though)

I don't want people to risk losing their starter version after 60 days and of course, I myself don't want to risk anything on my own laptop either.

                          So what dou you think?

Think you will find that the 60 day trial of full MS Office will overwrite the Starter Version !!

I have two problems and one should be easy to sort out I think.
                                1) My main laptop has error: \boot\bcd with error message 0xc00000f
(can I clarify if this means that the laptop is fooked?)

                                2) My other laptop which I am using to write this has an issue with the windows viewer(if that makes sense) apologies but I wasted money this afternoon that I don;t have to try and fix the first problem and the laptop told me more or less to get stuffed so I am quite hacked off.

Screen resolution is the word I was looking for. I know that the tools on the puter won't fix it btw.
