Personally speaking,I think Kate,PT2527,Fuzzles + Watsons should all be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. There should be NO rejoicing at their abject bullying of Lowells. I think it's absolutely shocking that members AND the site owner of LegalBeagles should rip the food from the mouths of Lowell employees. They found a 'weak' point in Lowells totally legitimate Stat.Demand and used it against Lowells which ,to me,is abhorrent to say the least!!

And then I woke up and realised all of the above was a bad dream and I really should stop eating cheese before bedtime........msl:

Instead you should send the cheese to Lowells and recommend they may like some as a bedtime snack!!!

I am surprised that Lowells have come out of things like this without legal sanctions against the company and its management. Putting Lowells on the Vexatious Litigants List would really throw a spanner in the works.

I agree, most definitely, they should be sanctioned for constantly abusing the Insolvency process, especially since they seem to resort to SDs to avoid following the usual CCJ route when they know they haven't got the proper documents to succeed!

For most people, the prospect of a CCJ is nowhere nearly as scary as bankruptcy. Also I've seen a few cases where they've dated the 2 weeks or so earlier than the date they were served, even when they were hand-delivered! :mad2: So that the recipient will look at the date and think they've missed their chance to have them set aside! :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: That's a very dirty trick and should be made illegal.

Maybe by hitting the Lowlifes where it really hurt (the bank account :wof they will learn to exercise restraint!

...failing that, they will keep transferring funds over to Watsons! :bounce:

                  Isn't it already illegal?

Another of their dirty tricks is to specify the wrong court on the SD.

They did that with mine - the court said they do it on a regular basis, even though they know which the correct court for bankruptcy

All the more reason to get the buggers declared to be vexatious.

They also stated the wrong court on my daughters SD. Do we know if they have actually activated any of their SDs and made anyone bankrupt?

They do proceed with bankruptcy sadly, but i would guess thats only because the OFT have slapped 1st Credit for not proceeding with BR after issuing a SD.

It is illegal. It's called Perverting the Course of Justice, if they obtain a Bankruptcy Order. It is also Fraud by False Misrepresentation.

Maybe by hitting the Lowlifes where it really hurt (the bank account :wof they will learn to exercise restraint! The only way Lowells will learn is when the NFA/SFO pay them a visit and take their IT equipment and filing cabinets away. SFO are seriously scary and will get answers.

...failing that, they will keep transferring funds over to Watsons! :bounce: Nice thought, but seeing the SFO send Lowells' management running to the nearest chemist shop for super-strength Imodium is more desirable... and funnier.
