  • SITE UPGRADE - Glitches? Report in here!

    Hi Legal Beagles

The upgrade to VB4 has finally happened! For a few days the forum will look very unfamiliar. We will re-jig the layouts and buttons to make it more similar to how it was before, but we will be incorporating a gentler colour scheme.

OK- Inevitably there will be glitches.

    • At the moment the chat box (new shinier one) will be visible to all. This won't last but is fine for now.
    • Previous Thanks are not showing but user reputation are intact....so I'm sure the Thanks are hiding somewhere.
    • User Control Panel (User CP) is now called Settings and is in Top Right corner of forum.

I'm really keen to check that people can still get to areas they used to access. If you can see areas you shouldn't PM me straight away!!

Can you post up your feed back here please.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

I like it, the colours are lighter on the eyes too. Still the recent post thing is a must as thats what myself and no doubt most of off use to find new threads and posts. Can't wait to see what its looks like when its all finished.

Also glad where finally able to stick the finger up at spammers everytime they fail to register or fail to post a post lol

            Thanks Ame & Cel

            Its great

I'm still having trouble uploading Attachments (its same system as PCF so i know how to use it--but it dont add new files at moment)

+ Clicking on the York Meet thread gives a Database error---as does posting in chatbox for me

                    Hi Dogtired

Can you do a check and see if you have lost posts between April 2011 and today?

                    Thanks
