Re: Bournes Debt Solutions (Bournes Limited) - FCA requirements & administration
,If you've cancelled all standing orders and make no more payment to Bournes then, unfortunately, I think it's just a waiting game now ...
You could maybe think about setting up another payment plan with another provider (Stepchange - http://www.stepchange.org and PayPlan https://www.payplan.com are both free)

Re: Bournes Debt Solutions (Bournes Limited) - FCA requirements & administration
Unfortunatley for now none..........you can contact the Administators with all your details. All the info so far is within this thread. It's just a wait and see what the administrators come up with....hopefully they should be making contact soon.

Re: Bournes Debt Solutions (Bournes Limited) - FCA requirements & administration
Hi everyone,
I am one of the Bournes clients. I was trying to contact them since last Monday but... nothing. Today I called Financial Ombudsman and they confirmed that Bournes is under FCA investigation. I have cancelled my standing order and I made a claim to the ombudsman. Meanwhile, I haven't received any letters from Bournes at all. I contacted my creditors and they put my accounts on hold for 30 days until I have some more information about the situation.
Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks for any advice in advance

Thank you for your email.
Bournes Ltd (in Administration) High Court of Justice No. 6631 of 2014 Peter Levy was appointed as Administrator on 18 September 2014 (at 3.30pm). He is investigating the client money position and advises that all standing orders must be cancelled forthwith and that no payments to creditors are no longer being made. Please do not pay in any money into any accounts connected to Bournes Ltd either by cash or cheque and please cancel any direct debit facilities you may have set up.
Please note that we are establishing the position as regards client monies and will provide updates in due course.
It will be difficult to monitor, reply to and justify costs in addressing all email communications and enquiries; we would ask that you send all future emails with a ‘read receipt’ request so that when we read emails you then receive confirmation that your email has been received and is being dealt with. An initial notification letter is being prepared and is to be made available for viewing on our website, but only accessible to relevant clients and customers. Log in details will be provided to those who are in contact by email at this stage. If you prefer to have a hard copy please put this request in writing.
Thank you in advance for your patience.
Kind Regards
The email address to send ur details is Bournes@labusinessrecovery.com
lets hope we get something soon

Can't remember his name now. I just rang the number from their website. Just ring them. Tell them you will send the statement and details. If your last one was June then also send them the dates and amounts you have sent since then as well.

Re: Bournes Debt Solutions (Bournes Limited) - FCA requirements & administration
Hi there
Ive been meaning to say hello to everyone.
I'm a client of Bournes as well and in the same boat as everyone else. I've been with Bournes for over 3 years.
One of my creditors contacted me a cour of weeks ago to tell me the fca has frozen Bournes so I immediately cancelled my DD, rang all my creditors and paid all if them up to Oct. I have now set up a DMP with StepChange who have been so helpful. I should have gone with them years ago but due to several major operations stayed with Bournes as everything was already set up and easier. (Big mistake!)
To date like everyone else I haven't heard anything. Is it the Administrators that I should contact or is it best to wait for a letter from them?
