5.1 There will be no initial fees payable by you towards Platinum Management for your Debt Management Programme

5.2 We will take from each monthly payment under the Debt Management Programme a fee equal to 22% of the periodic payment, subject to a minimum of £38, however if a situation arises where taking the minimum would represent more than 50% of the full payment it will be reduced to 50%. If in accordance with our records you have conducted and completed your Debt Management Programme satisfactorily will, refund 9 months of management fee. EXCEPTION; Waiver of the latter fees will not apply where ‘full and final’ settlement has been arranged.

You need to know if your money is safe & unless Mr Levy can give you that assurance I would still contact the Ombudsman

Ok that's the answer I was looking for. I couldn't see the point of contacting them until Mr Levy has some conclusive news. I asked because I read some people have contacted them. I agree it's best to wait.
    Thanks everyone x

Mr Levy doesn't want the ombudsman looking over his shoulder

Mr Levy in his letter has asked that we don't do anything rash at the moment - I read this as not to make a complaint to the ombudsman yet until Mr Levy has done his thing and let us know if we are to get are money back. It may be that at some point the ombudsman is last resort but for now be patient and lets wait and see - I don't want to do anything that may slow his process down. It's hard this waiting game :tinysmile_cry_t:

I thought by contacting Mr Levy the administrator and sending all statements etc that was putting in a claim. What does the ombudsman do that's different?
    excuse my ignorance
While you could contact the ombudsman, I cannot see it making much difference (correct me if I'm wrong?!) as they really cannot do anything more at this time

    Have you notified the administrators??
    Have you got a reply??
