I would again suggest that if the victims can afford it they jointly apply (ex parte) for a freezing order thereby stopping Mr Levy from paying anyone but the victims of this bunch

I am very sorry that there are so many people caught up in this situation, and hope that there is some way for everyone to reclaim their money
Hopefully, with the help of the other Beagles, we will be able to offer help and advice to anyone who needs it through this thread and this forum!!

Hi to all at LB. Firstly i would like to thank you all for the information that has been posted here, it has been very helpful to us. We too are victims of Bournes with over 10k in our so called pot to pay creditors. The reason for this post is to let you know of my findings on the computer. The directors of Bournes Michelle and Michael Gilbourne have 3 other registered companies which show ACTIVE. These are CLICKNOWFORJOBS NOTTINGHAM, CN4J LTD which shows on the 18th aug Michelle and Michael resigned as directors and on the 19th aug a Mr Callum Gilbourne was appointed director. Very strange indeed. The third business is XAN LIMITED. Another name which crops up frequently with the above people is a Mr Clive John Barrett who also works at Diamond Financial Solutions Ltd. registered at 229 Nottingham road. I phoned the administrators and explained what i had seen their reply was " its nothing we can't see for ourselves and more" very patronizing. I then phoned the Insolvency Service and explained about Bournes and the Administrators selling the client list to Platinum which is another DMC charging even more than Bournes did, so this company should not have even been considered. I know we don't have to go with them but its not the point. He said we can personally complain about the directors of Bournes/other businesses and the conduct of the administrators. The websites are: intelligence.live@insolvency go to contact us and you will see where to go. This is for the directors. https://www.gov.uk/government/organi...lvency-service complain about an insolvency practitioner of how and what they have done. It is a tragic affair when you trust someone to help you and they are the ones that bleed you dry. Please all of Bournes clients complain about this dreadful situation.:tinysmile_cry_t:

Can't say for sure, but I would probably guess guess not.

Think the "Bournes" in the name likely came from a play the names of the 2 foundering directors, Mr Michael Gilbourne and Mrs Michelle Gilbourne?

Does anyone know if this guy 'Geoffrey Parker Bourne' had any connection with Bournes Solutions ?

AS some others have done I suggest you write to Mr Levy and express your unhappiness at their conduct citing their unapproved (by you) selling of your plan to another fee paying DMC. I would also DEMAND to know if YOUR lodged funds are safe & don't take "no can't tell you" for an answer. Also mention that if there's suspected fraud tell them either they or you will report such suspicions to the police

    Hi all,
I am another bournes customer who has spent 6 years with them and paid over 7.5k to them and now left in limbo as to where my money has gone (dread to think) , anyway quick question does anybody else thinks it's slightly suspicious that this mr.levy who is dealing with the administration has the same name as 'Levy Solicitors ' whom bournes were using in the early days ? When I first joined bournes , Levys solicitors got in contact with me saying they were instructed by bournes to try and write off any un enforceable debts, just seems abit of a coincidence that they have the same name.

And I've also had a letter from platinum management , I contacted them and yes apparantly they don't charge an initial start up fee but he went on to say that if I paid £100 a month they would take £38 of that, I can't quite believe that we are being targeted by another rip off debt management company! It's shocking!

Lets hope the administrators let us know one way or another (there's a song there) so we can move on from this mess. Although if it's not the good way I'm not sure what the next step would be - ombudsman, solicitors, media etc.!!!
