It is so lovely to read threads like this

Welcome angel, its great to see you are getting all the help you need.

Russ, thanks for those kind words.

(made me feel all emotional) lol

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

      Hello Angel,

      Welcome to this wonderus site:banana:

I have been successful in reclaiming back mis-sold ppi from 2 very large companies to the sums of £7400 and £7,000.

They did put up a bit of a fight though, but caved in eventually. I was fortunate that I did not have to issue a court claim, but this maybe something that you will have to consider.

I found that they did not give me any information regarding ppi in the sar, and conveniently misplaced the credit agreement after I sent a cca request,. That is when the questioning letter started and it did take a few before I got the truth Once they realised that I was serious, they paid up. I am now looking at reclaiming back ppi of previous loans

If you need help just ask, there are loads of experienced people on the site willing to help,

Wishing you luck, you won't need it, just determination.

        Re: Angelizing V Welcome Finance

        Hi All,

I have been very busy!!!!!! After sending the letter to them they have stated that they have not received this, and they have also in not so many words told me that I have to make the payments while they are investigating.

So after explaining to them that it is illegal for them to mis-sell me anything!!! They are stating that oh well I had 30 days in which to cancel it so it would be looked at but if I do not pay them they are sending it to the collections agency!! :slayer: GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Poor woman, I thought she was going to start having a go at me  lol

I explained everything over again and again, and still stuck to my guns, my partner was laughing his head off and I felt really sorry for them! I am too soft and they keep adding charges on. In the morning I am going to re-send the letters that have already been sent but now I want to see all my account information, so I will also sent the postal order for this! I am going to copy in the compliance department, Financial Ombudsman and the head office!! ALL ARE GOING BY SPECIAL NEXT DAY DELIVERY!!!

          Re: Angelizing V Welcome Finance

And also write to them saying that they can't put it out to a Collections agency while the account is in dispute, I've got a link to the relevant bit of the OFT guidance, I'll see if I can post it for you.

Wendy you are an asolute angel.

I have had to take the day off of work to sort all this out and in all honesty, as a contractual worker I really cannot afford to be doing it but hey after working it out they owe around three thou. Not all lost

                                Re: Angelizing V Welcome Finance

Okay so now I have them on the PPI and charges. Does anybody have any dealings with data protection? I was going to drop that but after the conversation yesterday I am not so sure. I have reported this to the Financial Ombudsman and they (not so welcome) have told me to prove it!

Would I need to give them witness statements? Bearing in mind I did complain to the branch manager at the time, would it be more wise to wait until I send off for the SAR? Presuming I get all the correct information of calls etc... ...They also changed my account manager when this happened. I think in total they have done this four times without consulting me, the first I hear is when I get a phone call from them... ...I must smell lol.
