    Re: Neighbor refusing access to their land

    So, I will respond to their letter with their request for risk assessment and contractor details and their insurance details.
    Is it worth adding to the letter;
    'Mr stressederic has provided you with all your clients requests.
    This will be Mr Stressederics final say on this matter'

    So without actually threatening court action their solicitor will know our next step will be to gain an access order? Or must I make it clear next steps are court action where I will claim back all associated costs?

        No that's contingency. Should take a an hour or 2 to seal windows on outside all being well.

            Ha ha I know, right. But seriously, tort claims are not as easy as people think apart from ambulance chasing personal injury which is done through insurance companies anyway. The main thing is the contractors will have liability insurance - you can only claim for the thing once anyway. What happened to those good ole Western days where you just shot (joke, i think :P) your neighbour if they were being unreasonable.
