    • Hi guys received the letter with a court date, I'm going to send another SAR request to Tesco because I think it's weird that the default notice turned up months after both me and Lowell's asked for it.

      • Payment date is 21/5/21 and Court date is 18/6/21. Don't know if that helps anything?

        • Sorry, you've lost me somewhat with 'payment date'. Payment of what please?
The default notice appearing later is not helpful to your case I'm afraid, it may seem odd how these documents don't always materialise as you think they should, but in the big scheme of things, so long as all documents are supplied a few weeks before the final hearing, that would be sufficient to enforce.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

          • Hi guys, received a letter for settlement proposal from Lowell's, to avoid litigation which was my initial aim anyway. It says I have to contact them to makema payment plan, the last time I did this they said that they wouldn't accept anything less than £200 a month so my question is, can/will they go ahead with the court proceedings if I just start paying off chunks beforehand?

              • Ok thanks MIKE770 even says on the letter that the hearing date isn't until 18th June so I feel like not replying and just saving the money until then and pay it on the 17th!

                  • If you work out what the total plus costs and interest is if you lost on the 18th of June, that's your worst case scenario. You can immediately apply to the court to set up a payment plan of what you can afford to pay monthly. If you do a free online Income/Expenditure calculation with Stepchange or similar you'll see what 'free' income is available to meet the debt.
You could consider negotiating with them ahead of court to avoid some of these costs to get a lower settlement. They will have counsels fees to cover for the hearing so they will want to get settlement if possible.
