Work out how many actual days a "normal" person does. Don't include weekends, bank holidays, and ordinary holidays. I think you'll be surprised what that really works out at.
I''m on a 170 day contract (although the way things are at the moment, ends up considerbly more). But as it's a 12 hour working day, the hourly rate isn't spectacular, and there's the hassle of not being at home for the other 12 hours of those days.
But it sure beats losing 4 hours of your life a day to sitting in traffic while your blood pressure escalates.
