I agree with des8 ... there is absolutely no need for you to reply Sonu.

Hi so explain the situation you went into Debenhams and mistakenly put two items through and only paid for one. They put you in a police cell umm this sounds a little odd as you did not shoplift. you made a grave mistake.

Have a look at the Arkle V Pressdram case. Google it.

Have a laugh but do not use that defence.

Is this a new incident, or a comment on the existing thread?

Newest letter from RLP

Sonu ... you have nothing to worry about (as I'm sure des8 and Celestine will agree)! This is following rlp's methods to a 't' up to now, and my advice is to still ignore

Gosh, lucky you:tinysmile_grin_t:.
You will now get a letter from a Debt Collection Agency, and after ignoring it you can use it to light the fire or line the dustbin or do whatever else comes to mind.
But just keep ignoring.
You now know how toothless they are.
They have been threatening this that and the other, but all they do is pass it to an equally toothless DCA

Hi sloane82

i go in to that store all the time and spend a lot of money in there, but it always seems I'm being watched by the shop assistant,, that day I had a lot of stress going on in my life ( I suffer from stress/ anxiety for the last year) I went in with good intentions to treat my family I had enough money on me ,, then I noticed I'm being watched, from behind counters and on the floors , I don't knw what come over me .. I swapped the price tags made my item £20 cheaper... And I got caught ... They called the police I got taken to the police station ,, was given a fine of £90 which I paid,,, then few days later I realised what I had done was very bad,, which gave me panick attacks ,,, I have given to £400 to charity as a way of forgiveness ,,,, I am still ashamed .. I was apply to be a foster mum now I cant ...

Hi Sonu
I don't believe an FPN for shoplifting should show on an enhanced CRB/DBS check.
I'm not completely sure if that will be immediately or a couple of years down the line.

I also wonder why you think a FPN for a very minor incident would affect your chances of fostering.
Although I have never been involved in fostering, I've had a look round and it seems that the agencies take a rounded view of those applying.
It seems to me that your anxiety problems might be a bigger hurdle
Others might well know more about this, and I'm hoping they might be along to advise.

I agree with what most have said on here and I also know things are easier said then done.
First off put this mistake behind you, you have more than paid for it and your health must not suffer for it as well.
Maybe a GP visit would be in order or at the very least a visit to one of the many websites and forums that you could read through, maybe seeing how others cope with Anxiety or what you can do to help yourself with this condition is all you need.
This incident will soon be a thing of the past and although you may never forget it you will soon see just how trivial it was in life's big picture.
I personally commend you for even considering fostering and that only tells me what a special person you really must be,
I can't say if this incident will be disclosed on an advanced CRB, I will say even if it is, only violent or crimes against children go against in the fostering process.
I wish you well and good luck in the future all the best.
