[QUOTE=wales01man; thank you, when I sit with a group of people I just feel so low that am worthless.. I'm watching over my shoulder in case I'm with family or group of people and debenhams staff see me and talk about me,, I'm so stressed I've stopped going gym in case I see Deb staff, this is taking over my life.. I just want years to pass so it can be less memorable...

thank you so much for taking time out to reply means a lot to me. Your support thanks
No need to return RLP's letters.
Just return here for all the support you need, but do reconsider obtaining counselling.

RLP are a parasitic outfit that preys on peoples guilt and fears by sending speculative invoices.

They are not issuing fines, only the law enforcement agencies can fine you. The customary advice is to ignore RLP completely (there are very many threads on here explaining why).

You could always, of course, refer them to the reply in Arkell v Pressdram

Let's see if I can help you.......

RLP have sent a Demand to you, explaining that an incident in which you were involved has caused costs. Yes?
Now........ let's take a closer look at their claim, made on behalf of a retailer.

                How is their claim 'built'?
If you were to ask for a breakdown of all the costs associated with this claim, RLP would need to be able to show you how the retailer (or RLP) produced it.
                See?
They might list all sorts of costs and expenses. Some might seem very 'unusual'.
If you would let us know what RLP's costs breakdown is, and if you would tell us about the incident 'in detail' , then you might be able to write back to them, pointing out which expense was justified and which was not. This could show that they might have deceived you about what this incident cost.
Amazing costings can get included by claim companies! CCTV costs! Witnesses' time off the shop floor. Manager's time. etc etc......... But they have to try and produce a reasonable cost. Ask them how much they are costing for themselves....!

You might find that you can then send a letter to them, explaining that any case would be DEFENDED!

My guess is that RLP would not continue. I'll have a scout round and see how many of RLP's cases actually do go to court. That might be interesting!
If they continue, you do get a chance to tell your story to a judge in a small claims court. We do not hang price-label-switchers.

Sonu - please don't let these letters distress you so much. It is just a letter....it doesn't change anything at all. Hugs xxx

Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. CAB are a waste of space sometimes - telling you to pay was wrong. Ignore is the usual advice.

Grrr ignore CAB - they're toothless. If the police didn't press charges then NOTHING will show on a CRB check.

So you received an FPN for theft.
It is unlikely that this will show up on even an enhanced check.
As it is not a conviction, or even a caution, it should not be included, but occasionally an error does occur and it is mentioned.

However there is nothing that can be one about it, and it is so rare (I read in about 2% of cases) that you musn't worry about it.

                                Re: Second letter from RLP

If you have no intention of paying RLP, do NOT contact them at all.

                                The letters do eventually stop,
Sometimes it is within a few months, sometimes up to 9 months later.
Some are referred to Debt Collection Agencies, but these too can be ignored.

If you contact them, they see it as a sign of weakness and redouble their efforts.

If you pay, the letters will stop.
This though will only encourage them to pressurise others, as they see it as a successful way to conduct business.
The letters will stop eventually anyway.

On a more personal side, from the little you have mentioned on this forum, you seem to be overstressed by what is a comparatively minor matter.
Perhaps you should consider seeing your GP about your condition?
If you do you could show him this thread to help explain the matter.
