I always been good now I have a plice record .. Can you please advise how shal I reply back to them. It really stresses me when I recieve thierr letter, my personality completely changes,, I spoke to CaB yesterday they said pay them
........... interesting...... they are threatening to pass your details to the police?
Now. Does this mean that the police were never involved, during or after the incident?
Did you receive and kind of Police warning, or (signed) Police caution, or Police charge?
Did you sign anything in the store?

I wonder about all the details....... exact details.

Thing is...... I used to train commercial detectives, store detectives, store guards, cctv operators, door supervisors, etc.......... and the one thing that I have been attracted to in any incident is every little detail.

Obviously, on an open forum you might not want to write every detail, or even be offended at my request, but it's the minute details that sometimes win or lose a situation.

I do love CAB (when they're open) but on average the advisers are not specialised in retail incident cases, imo.

The OP received a fixed penalty and IS receiving counselling. Clearly, the OP is taking this incident very badly and needs lots of emotional support and reassurance.

Sonu - Do not write to them or engage with them in any way. It only encourages them. This will get better and you will get through xx
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

                          Re: Rlp, debenhams, police fine

Those letters are standard RLP mis-statements and attempts to persuade victims to cough up.
Please note the liberal use of "may" and "might".
Also note the first letter was headed "Letter before Claim":
                          1) it does not actually comply with the court preaction protocols
                          2) following such a letter it is normal practice, if the letter is not acknowledged, to proceed to court action.
3)why have they not done so? Because they know they do not have a case that would stand up in court.
                          Please continue to ignore.
Sometimes they become so desperate for payment of any sort they offer to accept a reduced amount!

                                Re: Rlp, debenhams, police fine

RLP's last letter says that if you don't pay up they will advise Debenhams that they can now start legal proceedings.

Now this matter has been ongoing for at least 6 weeks, and a firm like Debenhams doesn't require legal advice from the likes of RLP.
If Debs had intended to take court action they would have done so off their own back immediately.
These letters are just standard threats, written in a sort of legalese language and designed to frighten vulnerable people into paying RLPs preposterous charges.

Remain strong and continue to ignore.
If you need reassurance, come back here and you will get the hugs and support from the girls.
No one on LB will judge you.
We all make mistakes, but that does not give lowlifes like RLP the right to issue veiled threats in the hope of making a profit for themselves.
