  • Vindictive messages.

    I have had issues with a family member, who has posted nasty messages about me on a social media site for all the world to see. I have nasty e-mails from this family member, and there is even a threat in one of them. Is there anything I can do.

    You can report them to the police under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.

    In regards the social media site, if the messages are not true you can inform them and ask for them to be removed citing the Defamation Act 2013 s.3 if they get funny about it.

      Perhaps pinging the SPAMMER would have more effect, at least in the UK we don't have a deranged President.
