yes... Tangled web indeed! So what do I need to do now? Do I send another letter to both parties explaining the name change also mentioning the fact that the courts should have notified them?

Re: Lowell Portfolio & Bryan Carter county court

So I've now received what appears to be the standard letter from Bryan Carter stating the case will most likely be allocated small claims court. It's also saying I need to refer to my own records for the debt. What am I supposed to do now? I'm feeling quite lost!

          Hi Miss,

Sorry to have missed your post.

You should really respond to the CCA request as they might use that to say you haven't made a legitimate request so I'd write back to the claimants ref the CCA request informing them of the name change and enclose the copy of evidence same as you did with the court.

            Thank you for your advice!
I've now received another letter from Bryan Carter stating they are writing to formally confirm their clients intent to proceed with this matter.
They are also saying before they do so the client is prepared to try and achieve a solution to avoid further costs by both parties and that the court encourages this.
They ended it by saying I should seek legal advice.

Should I worry?? Do I contact them?

I have a copy of it on my laptop yes. Is that needed for the directions questionnaire? (Not sure if that's what it's called)

Needed as evidence that you made a lawful request with which the claimant has not complied.

Thank you! Is the copy on my laptop enough? Should I consider mediation as Bryan Carter suggested?

Also... My directions questionnaire has to be returned by the 9th, do I accept what they have said? Do I consider mediation or no?

Bryan Carter Fake claims of email

I received a copy of a letter sent to the courts from Bryan Carter stating I replied by email to their request of mediation. I didn't reply at all, by email or letter. They're clearly lying, so what do I do now?
