ten years ago i had a loan with the HSBC no problem good job never missed a payment or an insurance payment:tinysmile_hmm_t2:. 28 years of motor industry, started sweeping workshop:cry: finished as workshop controller of one of the biggest bodyshops in bristol. Then the bad bit,i had back aches for six years, you just deal with it, then one day i could'nt move and i was rushed into frenchay hospital after three weeks, of morphine and other pain relief ihad an injection in the spine.(pain blocker) worked for two weeks,my range of movement at best could only be discribed as a tiny shuffling,in excrushiating pain.:cry:anyway eventually operation on spine.had two slipped disc's:cry: and two vertical fractures:cry: got fitted with two metal rods and 4 screws but i can walk again.19 months down the line on incapacity benifit and made redundant from very nice biggest bodyshop NOT.(SCREWED OVER)
With redundancy money decided to retrain as home inspector as most of training done at home because i can not stand or sit or lay for more than 30 mins at a time. AVIVA has now decided not to pay any more as i have been accussed of working. i have payed a lot of money to do this course at home but because i have had to go to the training centre for a week at a time and have a tutor to go through the manual then you go away and learn the manual when you have learn't the text then you go back to the training centre to sit a exam.basiclly a open university course. i am training at degree level nvq level4 for managers.but the insurance company has decided this is classed as WORK not training as i have to take 17 pain killers a day on a good day. at the moment i am on level 2 of there complaints procedure but i expect to have to write to the ombusman next.the insurance company is just trying to wangle its way out of paying, because they think they have payed enough. i am on incapacity benifit and the DWP knows all about my course.but AVIVA are having me over any other poor defenceless bod been had over by big comglomerate?
