Hi,
It’s my first post, so hope someone can help...
I’ve been reclaiming PPI on an old Comet TIme Card account from the mid nineties. I made a claim via Santander, and after a very long and tortuous process they have upheld my claim.
I could only find a couple of statements from when I had the card, but both clearly showed payment protection. The statements were numbered for each month I had the account, and the two statements I provided were from the 52nd and 58th month of the lifetime of the account.
Santander state that as they have no documentary evidence of any other payments they are only going to reimburse me for the two payments shown on the respective statements. Is this right? Shouldnt they have at least considered the fact I would have been paying PPI between the statements?
Couldn’t they see that the account was at least 4 years old so I must have been paying PPI for those 4 years?
Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.
