To be fair to them, I suggested you contact them if you had problems removing the attachment, not to help with the thread.

It will be very interesting to see what the reply is. I'll tell you now I sent a similar letter to a car finance company a few weeks ago. They responded by sending me a notice of arrears and I've re-responded (is that a word?) saying I was very surprised to receive this letter before they'd even acknowledged my first one. As I suffer from mental health issues, I also pointed out (again) the MALG guidance and stated I felt this arrears notice was going against those guidelines and adding unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I am still waiting for a reply from them and their solicitors to whom it was copied.

I got a letter from Lloyds tsb again today that I am overdrawn and I supposed to pay £162 - my account went into red because of them in September I do not intend to pay these charges just wait until they respond to the letter.

I would either ignore as letters have clearly crossed in the post, or just send an I refer you to my letter datedxx/xx/2010.

I think thats right, but you say there is an overdraft? The bank may cancel it at any point and if they do that they will ask for the amount back. If thats not paid they default you. I'm not sure how important your credit score is to you right now or if you will be in the UK for the next 6 years and need credit here, but if you will be you might want to avoid falling victim to the "computer says no" mentality of your bank and try to pay something in towards clearing your o/d, even if you subsequently claim back the charges. Just my tuppence worth. I'm not doing too well today (!) and hopefully casper will put me to rights if I have any of that wrong!

That's not like you! What's wrong?

Eryca's overdraft is comprised mainly of costs incurred through her being mis-sold an account in the first place, otherwise she wouldn't be in this position, so we're trying to get those charges written off. Also her IE sheet demonstrates extreme hardship.

That's why I wouldn't suggest token payment at the moment, but definitely maintain contact informing them of her position / actions.

By the way Eryca - that company wrote off my debt - nearly £2500!

Debt Star: I will be in the country probably in the next 6 years yes but to be honest with you I am not really bothered about my credit history as I feel I am done with credit cards, loans or anything else what can put me into hardship, I learned a lesson and I am not going to make the same mistake again. yes I know the consequences, but in this case the bank stole money from me so if there is any credit history for banks I want to write a review.
I hope you feel better today. one of my old friend used to say this to me: if you feel bad in your life , you just show the life its winning against you, so dont give this pleasure to your life.

I think everyone on this site is in good hands. May take you up on healthy lifestyle. I walk about 6-10 miles a day with the real Caspar and eat healthily. However due to medication I am piling on weight which I hate. Anything more I can do, or do I just accept it.

your body is clearly acidic and I know you believe in medications but I dont. I am doing my dissertation on drugs and medications and it is not real I found out. the main thing is if you want to lose wait but you are taking medications it will more than likely to affect the process.
also if you can send me what you mean by eating healthily, so I can take a look. 6-10miles a day is very good keep that up and if you want to go for a walk in some forest , it will genuinely clear your mind.
but to be honest believe it or not mind training and meditation can really help.

again medications can increase water tension in your body and make you piling weight on. i genuinely recommend you to start meditating and thinking about you in perfect shape, work on your mind and reduce medications slowly, but keep up with healthy eating and exercise because it is good for you.
weatgrass and spirulina you want to google - super foods and eat as much vegetables and fruits as possible.

can anyone help me with Lloyds plese? I have sent them a complaining letter back in November which they have answered to saying they will look into my case, however since than only thing I get is notification that I have to pay them asap otherwise be facing bailifs.

I have been made redundant and have no income what so ever yet and did not find any jobs.I feel like I have been robbed by lloyds mistreated and I want to get my money back.

I dont know if I have to send another letter to Lloyds or send it straight to the ombudsman.

Hiya

This sounds just like Lloyds!

Complain to them and tell them you have already sent them a number of letters explaining your current situation, also mention you don't feel your being treated fairly. (They do have a lenders code to follow).
Then inform them of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) if this continues, as your trying your damn best in dealing with the situation.

Meanwhile I'm sure someone will be along soon to give further advice on this for you, good luck.
