    Re: LavenderRose Hardship claim

The appeal guy has given me 21 days to produce my itemised phone bill showing the calls I made. It looks like if he gets this I may have won as they had lied. I rang BT as soon as I got home but couldnt get through till the day after. I received my itemised bills today and I cant believe they are not itemised as I asked (and paid for) £4.50 each. I needed 3 but kindly only charged me for 2. I stressed I needed the local calls itemised and shown on the bill because it was for an appeal case and I had 21 days. I now have 10 days to get them and it took BT a week to get them to me. I have to go through them then send them to the appeals guy.

    Hi

So sorry you are having such a dificult time. Try calling BT again and insist on speaking to a supervisor and explain how urgent the itemised bills are. Get their name and ask for an address for complaints and a copy of their complaints proceedure. I dont hold out much hope but you do have to be very pro-active and strong with them. I once got financial compensation from Bt - but it took a lot of letters and time

      Re: LavenderRose Hardship claim

Thankyou all so much. Ceteleo I will PM you details just need to figure out how I do that but I will. I wondered what PM meant.lol
I rang BT today and explained about the tribunal and urgency of these bills and that they had only itemised mobile numbers. I said if I lose this case due to their incompetence they will pay the amount I lost. A new set of 3 bills itemised are on their way and I will get Wed and they didnt charge me (not that I would have paid.lol) I will have to go through them Wed night and send it recorded delivery Thursday with a letter explaining phone companys cock up. I have till a week Tues for them to get them. I am so glad of this site. I work for a community centre and I am the Finance/I.T Officer as well as doing all the paperwork etc and services like CAB (who are funded) etc use our centre once a week. Is there any funding I could try and get for you towards the running costs of this site. I know everyones not fully qualified but you are giving support, empowerment, and improving the lifestyle and health and wellbeiing of people who would otherwise end up ill through financial problems. The charity I work for doesnt have any money and we rely on funding ourselves which seems to be harder to get each year but if its an area you think I could help then let me know and I will try. I would like to repay you all somehow if I could. If funding is too much work with i.e reports, targets etc maybe a donation on a yearly basis. Anyway you get what I mean and I cant guarantee I can be successful but if you would be happy for me to I would give it a good go.

That is such a lovely thing to say, Thank you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't know any one on here who is qualified. We looked at MAT etc a while back but the restrictions on what we can do, help wise, are too grea, although the training access they offer would be great.. The problem with CAB,CCCS etc is they are so bound by bureacracy and regulation. They need to be and they do great work...I hope we fill the gap the red tape creates and make things a bit more accessible, immediately, 24/7 if need be. The support, empowerment and friendship elements of the site are so important to us.

Funding wise, yep we just survive on donations, VIP memberships etc, Can't say theres a great deal coming in but we'll manage. We have some fantastic support.

Thank you for your belief in us and what we are doing, it really does mean a lot.

          Re: LavenderRose Hardship claim

I know what you mean Amethyst. Organisations like CAB are too tied up to be able to tell you what you can do to the extent this site does and this site tells it as it is and in plain English. I know other organisations are qualified but what better advice can you get than from people who have experienced it for themselves. Experience in my eyes is far better than qualifications. I will be seeing the Rt Hon Chap from House of Commons tomorrow so when I get home from work I will be able to tell u what the Social Security Act actually covers. I will see what I can do for donations wise. Some simply want their logo on our publicity etc whereas in your case it would be a logo on this site, some dont want anything, some want referrals etc etc. I will find out what I can and let you know for you to decide where and if you want to take it.

              Re: LavenderRose Hardship claim

Hiya, I spoke with the Rt Hon guy today about the letter I sent. He was only there for an hour to give out awards but remembered the letter and replied to it on the train home Thurs night. He said I would be receiving it any day and then was wisked away. Although I have not got the answer right now it is on its way. Is there any advice on my bailiff situ or are you still reading through it and thinking best way forward.
              Thanks

                  Re: LavenderRose Hardship claim

I did thanks Amethyst and got a reply. I have to send everything I have got. Im going to scan everything tomorrow and send them to cetelco who will look at them Monday. I am going to highlight all the false statements so that cetelco knows which are fact and which are untrue. I really appreciate the support.

                  Thanks

cetelco I have not forgotten to email you I have not been well these last couple of days and ive been off work. I have tried to go through the breakdown of the bailiffs and cant make head or tail of it except I have only seen 4 bailiffs over the last two years and two of them once and two twice and no more. No bailiff has been in my house i have never signed anything no levy has been made and no van needed to attend as no levy has been made. Im going to scan everything to you tomorrow and hope you can understand what they are saying and if you have any questions let me know. I have kept letters from them and i will send them as well. I hope this is ok. I would do it tonight but I dont feel up to it. As soon as I start trying to go through it my headache gets the better of me. hope this is ok.
                    Thanks for everything

                        Hiya
I have spent all day going through these and I have not scanned the proof of payments yet! Sorry its taken so long. I have marked off what I remember to be true but I must admit the last 6 pages of the breakdown that are supposed to be the screen dumps baffle me. I hope youve got a good brain for paperwork as I am an administrator at work and I cannot get my head round these. the cheeky sods said my property grade was poor. I had a nice house thank you.lol I really do appreciate you doing this for me and I hope it doesnt take too much of your time. I will scan the last of the docs tonight and email them to you tomorrow cetelco. Your a diamond.
                        Many Thanks

Cetelco ive finally finished! phew. you should have all the paperwork now. Am I right in thinking that if I have been charged for a levy they are saying they have been in my house and put tabs on my possessions to sell? They have also stated that they spoke to my son (who is under 18) on one visit and spoke to a neighbour on another visit. Is this not illegal? Anyway Cetelco I will leave it in your capable hands and wait for you to contact me. i will of course help in any way I can.

                          Kindest Regards
