I have 2letters. One from Lowell: 2013 mobile with 3. The local mast did not work..3 did not tell me this until after 6months in to my contract .I got them to relase me but they asked me to pay an outstanding bill of 142.35 to which I disagreed because they had not provided me with internet for 6months. This was over the phone to some indian department. Fast forward 2016 and now Lowells are asking me for it.
The next: I got a phone after that and I found too that in the area there was little reception..if it at all. I took the phone to a shop in London- Vodafone where they said it was cracked on the screen and I had to contact Samsung. Eventually Vodafone told me I could not have phone checked for internet issue- because the crack had to be fixed first. They said that could be causing the issue (rubbish..my Dad sets up 4G/Voip ect and told me they are lying) so I sent it in but told them I wouldn't fix screen as it was a small line on the screen and the internet issue began prior to that and since I had the phone (they wouldnt admit to the mast issue in the area) .
Now this phone was then stolen, I was at loggerheads with them and stopped paying (stupidly) despite ringing their department to offer £100 to leave Vodafone...they insisted on full amount and now it is with Lowells Portfolio.
What can I do here, never had credit or owed a bean before this so am trying to build a credit file- I thought the 3mobile was done and dusted. The Vodafone is now on a claim for court action.....what are my options 😕
