Re: Wescot working on behalf of Arrow Global
Ok so we know that these Debt collectors purchase accounts in the thousands from original creditors. Do you suppose they are issued with all documentation or merely basic details?
So given that they only get basic details, who do you think they go to when they need documents?
So if they can go to the OC for documents then you have that legal right too, so you get all the information from OC that you can this way you know what the DC will obtain should they ask, from this you can establish if the DC is supplying you with genuine original copies or reconstituted documents.
Reconstitued can often be flawed and therefore unenforceable this is the importance of a SAR (Subject Access Request).

An example would be that if PPI was misold, you would claim from the original creditor.

Re: Wescot working on behalf of Arrow Global
So should I just wait then? Or is there a template letter for an SAR?
I've just won a court case with the amazing help from a solicitor on here and I'm actually able to live a normal life again.
I have 2 disputed debts left and would like to see them gone too, but after my last case I need time to save for fees

Re: Wescot working on behalf of Arrow Global
Hi
As you have sent a Cca request I would just sit back and wait. Let's not poke the sleeping giant. That is unless they are harassing you.
I have cca requests well over 12months old.
As for the SAR I would wait. If you reply even further threatening letters you could send one then.
Glad you won your other case, I hope Paul was able to get costs for you so you only had a success fee to pay. Was this the case he blogged about.
Sit and wait I think

Re: Wescot working on behalf of Arrow Global
Thanks for the replies. Di I'll have to wait till I get home to post the links to the 2 alleged debts as at work on a phone it takes me too long.
The fees would be to be represented legally again.
I agree with what warwick said as I found the court case so stressful.
As we were not allowed to fast track we couldn't claim costs.
Do you have a link to Paul's blog?
