Re: Time to report Lowell to oft....

Even after I beat Lowell in court and the judge confessed to be troubled by Lowell's evidence the ICO and the OFT did not have the integrity to apologise for their failures. Both are allowing Lowell a free reign by their lethargy. Waste of space in my opinion.

      Hey all,

So I know I've been a bit quiet on this front, however I have been busy making contact seeing if someone is happy to investigate this....I will keep you posted, I don't want to say to much until I know for sure one way or another. Keep your fingers and toes crossed hey!:okay:

Re: Time to report Lowell to oft....

HI all - so just a quick update...though not much to update with.

So as I understand from all the posts from everyone, the problem with SD's is not just with Lowell issuing them like confetti but a much bigger problem is the low amount of money one has to owe in order for them to be able to issue them in the first instance. That along with judges stunted knowledge of consumer law, enabling them to side with the DCA's (unless of course you have Celestine) and of course the very little that the OFT are willing to do I realised that this whole thing is much bigger than lowell.

Because it was discussed that the problem was much bigger than lowell, I contacted the BBC (mostly because I wasn't sure where to start) outlining the issue and I also contacted Panorama (also the bbc I know, but as I said I didn't really know where to start)

I have received a response from the BBC today suggesting I contact Panorama, yes done that but they wasn't to know.

I have not yet recieved a response to my email to Panorama, but as I understand from their automated email, they read ALL emails sent to them, with that in mind I dont expect a response just yet (if any at all)

My sister in law works for a well known news paper and when I explained she told me she does have a journalist friend who works with her and this is her niche so she has asked me to email her with details...of course she cannot gaurentee that she will do anything with it but will forward and speak to her about it as she is having lunch with her this week.

I would like to point out that nothing may come of this, but I'm trying my best.

P.s. I have of course mentioned Lowell in all corespondance as well as this website for a place to start. I really hope this goes somewhere!:tinysmile_twink_t2:

I would love to hear Crimilowells response when asked why they use SDs as opposed to CCJs.

Then have them asked why everyone that is challenged through the courts is defeated
