Re: Toothfairy Finance - Please help!

To be honest most of them go to the junk folder and get automatically deleted I kept a few in the early days (the threats of fraud etc) but then gave up hoping this would ever get resolved unless I just did my own thing and ignored them. I have searched my hotmail and uncovered one more from NDR sent the 28/11.. this is being uploaded now. Please PM me what's going on! I'm SO grateful for the help you guys are clearly doing behind the scenes but you have me really excited this might finally be over!!! I actually had started to think I'd be on my deathbed receiving evil emails from these stupid people... lol!

They will call again tomorrow. I can actually answer and speak to them if that might help? I'm sure I have an old mic somewhere around here, wouldn't be too hard to hook it up to my PC and put them on speakerphone if you guys give me some questions to ask them....

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. My daughter also has crohn's disease. She is currently at University and is struggling a bit with pain and discomfort.
To avoid the loan sharks I changed my telephone number free of charge. I told Virgin I was being harassed.

In the U.S they are now going to great lengths to close down the loan sharks. I pray this country follows and they are made illegal.

Hi I seem to be in a similar posistion, I lost my job soon after taking out a loan with toothfairy I rolled it over while I got a lower paid job then agreed to pay 50 a month for 4 months my debt is now allegedly 1400 on a 400 loan. I received 2 txts at 3am today one saying I agreed to pay 50 and the other saying I agreed to pay 650, agents are now going to visit every address etc and goods sold.. I really give in with this company and dont see a way out feels like im been held to ransom and my debt will never end

Shoot me people if you want

pay the original amount borrowed and a months interest, that is all, then tell them to take me to court

they cant add charges unless it is in the original credit agreement, which it will not be

Re: Toothfairy Finance - Please help!

Would you agree to a payment plan with them in order to pay them but then just pay the original loan and interest and stop any standing orders once this amount is paid?

                          100 % yes

its your choice, if they did take this to court the judge would go mad

set up a standing order, no debit cards or direct debit

send then an email of your intentions though

Re: Toothfairy Finance - Please help!

Thanks, I would send them an email but all my emails get returned so the only way i can contact them is to speak to the on the phone and they are a nightmare to talk to as they wont back down on anything!
I have got a letter today from their "solicitor"NDR and they are seeking a CCJ against me unless i pay the whole balance in the next 48 hours :-(
Also in the letter it says that they will be able to get an attachment on my earnings which will allow them to get the funds straight from my wages and also a garnishing order which will freeze my bank account....
Are they allowed to do this? and if so, is it possible?
