Full and finals are, or should be recorded on your credit file as settled. I have often been send the shortfalls on settled acounts to collect, that i have actually taken the settlement for! This is usually an error at DCA office, so keep your 'fully settled' receipts.

Ensure the balance left is not chased after later but account cleared.

I wouldnt put it past these greedy swines to get money off you and then pass it on to someone else - DCA'S ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED - EVER!

            Re: Offer of the Day

            Hello.
I'm new to this forum, I have received a Matched Payment Offer from Experto Credite which I may be able to pay with the kind help of a relative. I have asked them to make a bespoke offer to me in writing as per the letter posted by Lowry 123. I'm just wondering if all my liability really does disappear with my 50% payment and how would their letter of offer / receipt of payment back me up if another company took over the debt from Experto ?
            Thank you.
