So although I can easily prove who i am and it's my house, how do they know it's not my company?
The only thing I can think of is if you go onto companies house website and locate this company, yes it's registered to my address but when you look at the people's page it has a Mark Farry (I assume this is what the MF stands for) as the current director.
So will this be enough? Surely it's the director they will be looking for?

Ok just an update.
Was on the phone to bailiffs 8am. The bloke I talked to and seemed decent and told me to email over some proof.. council tax bill etc. So I sent this over with long covering email at 8.3. In this email I highlighted how stressful this was on my wife and kindly asked for at least an acknowledgment that they had received email and would really to say they had enough evidence etc.
Anyway by 5pm I had no response so I phoned again. This time I got an awful woman who basically said we get thousands of emails a day and to wait a few days.
I'm conscious that until this is sorted someone could turn up at anytime.
My question is I'm thinking if I don't hear anything back by Thursday morning I should go through their complaints procedure as it's a different email address.
Do you think 3 days is reasonable amount of time before going through their complaints procedure?

I've heard they are 'partial' to 'dunking' the odd Bourbon in Earl Grey tea.!!
