Sod it, I am going for the charges back, would rather get back my 1.1k that I have paid, than have £200 written off!

Just working at the moment, will go through the spready later.

OMG, I can't have done this right.

Interest at moment is 2.158 for both cash and purchases, according to the spreadsheet that is 30%.

      First entry....

21/8/2001, late payment fee of £18, interest column says the interest is £66.18

Is that right? or have I goofed up somewhere??????

According to the figures I am claiming 1.7k interest on charges of 1.1k

      OMG

You want to keep your eyes on fendy's Cap1 they have not coughed up yet, she has claimed CI. They are due to pay up any day now if it is still going to the way they normally play it. Then you will have a good idea if they are paying out the CI with no problems.

Well it took them a week to send my SAR to me, according to the RM website they received the request on Tuesday and I got all the paperwork this morning.

Lets hope they are just as quick with the cheque!

Yes maybe a bit quiet on here for three weeks or so, gives us time to catch up on own bits and bobs, I have just posted about credit cards and as I have said it is only my opinion, but the CC company's are down on their proffits are going to try and get it back some way.

Delta, Ive won with contractual compounded interest. If you wanna use my spready, the one I used to calculate it, just shout, I can e mail it over to ya. Its ace........ I found it much easier to use than the template ones over the road that I started out with. And its correct, Ive had it checked. And Crapital Bum have paid out Friday on it, with contractual so its right alright. Lol Lol PMSL. I cant believe they caved so easily. But I did have to file at court to get it, but theyve paid up. I issued MCOL on 14th June, and just been paid direct into Crap bum account on Friday, with cheque to follow for the rest. I used 24.34% total contractual compounded rate. I could have gone for higher, but I thought, be fair, I chose a mid range figure. But theyve paid up, so contractual must still be a good one to use for these. Fendy xxxxx

THE WAY FORWARD ON THESE CLAIMS, IS TO STAY POSITIVE, FOCUSED AND PATIENT, AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS BELIEVE ITS WORTH THE EFFORT, BECAUSE IT TRULY IS. WHY CHOOSE THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE WHEN THERES NOTHING TO LEARN FROM THAT. THINK OF CLAIMING AS A PERSONAL CHALLENGE AND GIVE IT YOUR ALL.

                          Hi Delta,

FWIW, I claimed UB rate CI from Crapitall and got full settlement. They use their own in-house solicitors, so it's just another office within Loxley Towers. Simian and I () are constantly updating the spreadies in here, and if you need to have your figures checked, we can do that for you.

Bill, would appreciate it if you could run an eye over it, but I think that I have done it right, I used the spready on here and put in the interest rate that is on my current statment, then started putting the fees charged in and let it do it's stuff, I missed out the section on the debited interest, cos I just couldn't get my head round that, but I think the charges and the CI on top are quite enough to keep me happy.

Fair enough, Delta - a lot of people ignore the debited interest. I did. Unless it's expected to be a large amount, then it's debatable as to whether it's worth the effort.

If you would like to post up the top 2 lines of your charges, I'll let you know if they tally with my check. If they do, then you're figures are probably all OK. Sounds like you have done it all OK.
