I will try to make this short as possible.
I live in rented accommodation and my washing machine broke down.
As it is owned by the landlord he got it fixed and put it down under my name as I live there.
He set up a monthly payment plan to insure the machine and other products.
He lives in Cyprus, and I am unsure if it matters a bit of a Hippy, and after the second payment the payments then bounced.
The debt then got sold onto ARC Europe as he put it in my name I got chased.
We agreed I would pay it then deduct it off the next Rent payment.
All, that was requested was an invoice from ARC Europe, nothing spectacular, just a basic 'You owe indesit this much, you owe us this much, this is the total'
After running around like a headless chicken a bit 'You have to call Indesit to get an Invoice' 'We will send one in the post' - They have now come back and given a Final Response of 'We don't do them'
They are now threatening legal action, but I believe I am not being unreasonable to ask for an invoice.
Another thing is as they know that I know the work was done a Invoice is not required.
I called through to a 'Legal Contact' and as advised 'he is not in today' (My guess is he is never in) and some bloke just shouted down the phone to me so I calmly hung up on him.
Anyway, any suggestions would be welcome.
