Can't really remember how I phrased it as it was back in 2010 so doing what FP said and request a CCA will sent it off tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't work and £80 is a hell of a lot to me I've got more going out than coming in. I was told by step change to only offer them £1pm but was trying to get balance down. Just been doing some cals this morning over 30 months I paid them £5804 and only £1053 went off my debt the other £4751 was interest. The XXXXXXXX.As to my health well it's wait and see, my second bout is lung cancer receiving treatment but I have a myriad of other health issues and when you put them all together, WELL it's PLOD ON you have to don't you. And as my nana always said to me "let nothing master you" and I don't if I can

May I ask how much you owe in total on this and other debts? Do you have a house with equity or other assets to protect?

What is a little? May be something that is not possible because of nature or amount of assets, or that you simply just don't want to do, but I was wondering if something like a Debt relief Order etc had been considered? Mainly because of the medical issues you mention, and that you don't work, so this can only be extra stress that you don't really need.

If that or similar solutions have already been ruled out then forgive my rambling...

Hiya all, an update on my CCA request received reply today it says we have your complaint and here is a copy of our complaints procedure leaflet. Does this mean they still have to give me something within the 12 days or 56 days as it states in the leaflet

A debt relief order is like a mini form of bankruptcy but not so severe , a lot cheaper to do and all over in a year. The limit is , I think 15000 but no doubt someone will come and give you exact opinion in a while

sent the CCA got reply back but can't understand it says here is a copy of our complaints procedure leaflet so do I still give the just the 12days to come up with the CCA or 56 day as stated in the leaflet?

did you see my other thread about my bank loan i posted today I would really appreciate some clarification on that on. Any idea's

Hi Sweetcheeks
This is typical of a tinpot DCA , they do not know their arses from their elbows.
To cover yourself I would write back to them reminding them that this was not a complaint but a request under S77-79 of the CCA (copy enclosed) and that you had enclosed the required fee of £1 that MUST NOT be used for any other purpose . They will be in default after the 12+2 DAYS

Yes I can understand that. But why mine haven't come across other people's stories put on there yet (still looking )
