Print off a sign saying 'BEWARE OF THE DOGS' and put it on the gate/door or in the window, close your curtains/blinds so they cant look in.
As soon as they hammer on the door and get no answer they'll no doubt leave once they hear the dogs barking

thanks swifty i had thaught about this but was warned that any sign saying beware of the dogs is as good as me saying my dogs are dangerous and that theye may call animal controll my smallest dog is a stffordshire bullterrier cross american bulldog that looks a lot like an illegal breed i have heard horror stories of people having there dog taken away and destroyed but also if theye get around the back my big dog realy will bite them hes an akita and i realy dont him put down because of stupid bailiffs ive been told any warning i give them about the dogs will probably be construed as a direct threat

No it won't be construed as a direct threat 'how could it' you are merely warning potential intruders that you have dogs. a mate of mine has a Rottweiler that went for someone that was threatening him no his door step (she didn't bite the guy, my mate stop her), he got a visit from the police and after my mate explained what happened they advised him to display a warning sign from now on

There is a Duchenne Family Support Group whom you can contact through the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Get in touch with them.

As far as the bailiff is concerned, you do not have to let them in in order to set up a payment arrangement. The bailiff lied and, in doing so, gained entry. Whether he can claim is was peaceable or lawful is another matter. Where deceit is used, in such circumstances, not only does this constitute a breach of B & S's OFT Licence, it may also constitute an offence of Attempted Burglary Artifice. You may have grounds for a Regulation 46 complaint against the local authority concerned. Certainly, refuse B & S entry. A child with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is an automatic case of "vulnerable household". Yes. Put up signs stating BEWARE OF THE DOGS. If the bailiffs are stupid enough to break in and get a chunk taken out of their backsides, that's their fault. Just make sure you get it on video and post it on this thread. Lol!
