    Can you give us a little more information.

    A 'drop hands' agreement usually means that you both walk away from legal proceedings with each party bearing their own legal costs.

    Was this a Without Prejudice offer/agreement?

    What has made you (or them) change your mind?

    Were/are you the Claimant or Defendant?

    What stage had legal proceedings reached before the agreement?

      this was a without prejudice offer
      I changed my mind because of further scurrilous allegations against me in a letter sent with their acceptance
      I was originally the claimant but they made a totally fictitious counter claim
      proceedings are at a pre- court stage
