Can you give us a little more information.Originally posted by greenman View Postcan I withdraw from a drop hands agreement which I was reluctant to enter into and what are the possible consequences
A 'drop hands' agreement usually means that you both walk away from legal proceedings with each party bearing their own legal costs.
Was this a Without Prejudice offer/agreement?
What has made you (or them) change your mind?
Were/are you the Claimant or Defendant?
What stage had legal proceedings reached before the agreement?

Re: drop hands agreement
this was a without prejudice offer
I changed my mind because of further scurrilous allegations against me in a letter sent with their acceptance
I was originally the claimant but they made a totally fictitious counter claim
proceedings are at a pre- court stage
