    Re: hello all

the Finnish social security/ maintenance claim is in my ex partners name, the appeal means my appeal to set aside a debt registered against me by the bulk law centre in Ipswich automatically upon receipt of the claim from Finland this was in September 2015, the first hearing before magistrates in Beverley was 21/11/2015 this was to consider my appeal to set aside the automatic registration of this debt against me, this was adjourned for more information from Finland, the second hearing was in January this year there was no further information received so it was returned to the bulk centre adjourned indefinitely there are no higher court appeals yet, the appeal is at magistrates court level and adjourned, I have no information on what's happening or happened in Finlands court system, I am trying my best as a layperson with no legal experience to convey what has happened its not that I am not answering your questions, the whole thing is complex to me, I just think if this went in front of a real Judge it would be thrown out that's why I mentioned Judicial review in the first instance

I think you have done/ are doing brilliant thus far. Judicial review in this country, unlike say America, is a useless remedy in your situation...it's an expensive High Court application as this is a civil matter. I would focus more on: the claim should fail as you have no relationship to or for the debt, ie you do not recognise the debt because it has nothing to do with you, for instance you never received Finnish state benefits unlike your ex partner. If the debt was in your name then I'd have challenged EU/ Brussels' Convention matter.
