My Husband is over 3 weeks into an IT contract with a company who is happy with his work. Despite the fact that he is meant to be paid weekly by the agency he has not been paid, The person in the company who employed him through the agency has left and the agency and company (hirer)are now having a contractual dispute. My husband has his time sheets signed off but the agency still have not paid him. Am I right in thinking that the agency have had reasonable period of time to get proof. And the my husbands agreement is with the agency to be paid weekly and that they are now unlawfully withholding pay.
as far as I was aware the employment agencies contractual issues with the hirer are irrelevant to them paying his wages. The Agency are also saying he may well loose this 3 month contract where does he stand on this as he signed on to A 3 month contract. We cannot afford to loose this money at present
