Order for production of statement of means

Hi there.
im looking for advice and fast I've just had (apparently a balliff) knock on my door and threw this notice thing in my hall as I refused to take it. It's for a debt of over £6000 which is roughly 10 years old I haven't ackoweledged this debt in anyway nor have I paid anything what can I do about this please?

Can you post up a redacted copy of the letter?

If this is an sealed order from a county court whatever the status of the debt may be you must comply with the order or be in contempt which may lead to your arrest.

it was for an old credit card acc original debt £3000 how can I attach a pic please?

Obviously it's all filled out with my info and full amount is £6131.73

Hi there when you say sealed do u mean in an envelope? Because it wasn't it was just 4 bits of paper stapled and throw in my hall as I refused to take it.

Sealed just means the stamp from the court.

So do you know nothing about a CCJ for this debt ?

Ok well it has a faint stamp defo a photo copy and not clear all I can read is the cou I'm trying to send pic but really not good at this. I may of had a ccj I haven't seen one but then I don't always open my mail! Thank u for yr reply

Simply calling the court in question may get you confirmation and info quicker than anything else.

So like the example form you posted, this is referring to an alleged previous failure to reply to an attachment of earnings statement of means?

Yes at the bottom it says n56 in small print
