My company has been doing the bare minimum to 'help' with my redundancy consultation:
1. They provided the 'suitable alternative employment' but asked me to applied for it like an external candidate
2. They rejected all my job applications internally and used very subjective lines for rejections.
3. They still want to proceed with my redundancy consultation process even though I am on sick leave
4. They only gave me a very short period of time to review the settlement agreement, the deadline is 4pm BST 26 Jul 2024.
5. I raised a grievance letter for concerning of unfair dismissal and potential indirect discrimination to the more senior HR people but still, I only sent it today...I am very concerned it might be too late. (23 Jul 2024)
6. They insisted to activate PILON, but to be honest it's the same to them in terms of pay. I need to extend my employment time as long as possible as I am on a skilled worker visa
I want the company to remove PILON on me as I am on a skilled worker visa, and give me back the 4-week notice. But they are so firm on activating the PILON, I only have until 4PM BST 26 Jul to review my Settlement Agreement. What should I do?
