  • Wrong advice? What can I do?

    I was involved in a court case regarding a Will ; I
wrote emails to the solicitor to ensure that his advice was correct which I doubted. However he assured me that it was correct as did the barrister. However I lost the case because they were wrong regarding the Wills act.
they assured me that 2 witnesses had to be present together at the time of a Will been signed.
As result I now owe over £76,000 because of their error. What can I do ? Can I complain to the solicitors.
And us there a time limit to complain?

The case relied on the fact that the witness's were not together at the same time when the Will was signed but in the Wills act its said they do not have to be together.

That is the Wills Act 1837 section ( f2)
The witness's do not have to be together
I did explain this to the Solicitor and Barrister and they told me I was wrong and had misread the Act.
The judge said that it was the law they did not have to be together.
