  • Can I keep a wrongly received item?

I ordered an item over the phone (rain cover for a buggy) and have received a whole new buggy including the rain cover. Am I able to keep the buggy? How long do they have to claim this back? thank you

This is clearly an administrative error and you should contact (in writing...email ok) the company and let them know what has happened.
If they want the item returned it is up to them to arrange collection from your house at their cost

If these were truly unsolicited goods you would be able to keep them under the Consumer contracts (Information Cancellation and additional charges) Regulations 2013

i should add the only way to contact the company is via a premium rate number...hence the reason i have not contacted them, the call to order cost over £10 so do not want to be contacting them at my expense
