Hello, I would be grateful for some advice.
I have received a full and final sum from the Executor of a will, but rather than just ask me to sign to say I have received the monies, there is an indemnity clause saying I will agree to indemnify the Executor against actions, claims and liabilities concerning the Estate and agree to execute to the Executor at my own expense a formal release under seal in respect of the said Estate and the administration thereo whenever called upon to do so.
could someone advise whether I should sign this?
Thank you
