Imho the signage doesn't cut muster.

The pre-estimate of loss argument has been made more difficult due to the Beavis/PE decision, but imho is still doable.

Send one of these - https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...-of-documents/

    Ask for
A true copy of the notice to keeper
A true copy of the landowner/CEL agreement/contract plus any other contracts which allegedly are relevant to allow CEL to operate on the land in question (ie between landowner & managing agent, etc.)
A true copy of the KADOE agreement between CEL & DVLA.
True copies of all documentation which CEL hold in relation to their claim, & which either supports or undermines same.
True copies of any site signage & an indication of their position on the relevant land.

Keep a copy, get proof of sending.

To either CEL or, if applicable, their legal rep.

Northampton bulk processing centre is not a court it is merely a place where 99% of small claims are processed.. In your defence you need to follow the procedures as a defendant in issuing and pursuing the CPR 13.route link attached: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...l/rules/part13
CEL will issue thousands of these every year but very rarely do they ever turn up to court. Ask for the hearing to be in your home town. CEL very rarely turn up thus making the magistrates/judge throw the case out. But make sure you do all your homework beforehand. Like was the PNC issued within 14 days? Did you admit to being the driver? Did you appeal to the parking appeals people? POPLAR They're just some examples. You can also contact Parking appeals .com for a small fee they can advise and act for you better than myself and they usually win every time. Ask for Paul

Just a minor point.....it will probably be a DJ/DDJ sitting in (civil) county court.

Anyway there is no need to pay anyone a fee, there's enough help here to dispute any claim.

Post up copy of the claim form, PCN & notice to keeper (all suitably redacted.)
If you can't resize them send to admin@legalbeagles.info quoting this thread (they aren't mind readers!)

And await arrival of cavalry ( ostell & charitynjw )
Hi I used Private Parking Appeals to do all the leg work for me as I didn't have time and CEL just ignored everything I sent. That is their common tactic.

I only asked as you described it as 'information'
                            on TrustPilot'.

I've removed the link as it contains personal information.

Was it a default judgment? I ask as defamation cases can only be heard in the High Court, unless it's with the agreement of both parties and the County Court.
