    Hi all,

Today I received a letter from the county court business centre in regards to PRA group chasing a debt from 7 years ago and claim I made payments up to the end of last year although his is not true, any idea why they would say I had Ben making payments? If anyone can point me in the right direction on how to deal with this please, thanks in advance.

    Hi and Welcome

You need to follow the First Steps and then using the template on that guide tell us what's on the claim form.

Now a claim has been filed you will need to defend it and once you provide further information we can guide you through how to do that!

        Hi JAGUARSUK,

I have just got back from work and going through the above, the Claimants address and address to send docs\payments to are the same, do I need to send both letters to the same address? I don't see a solicitors address, only a name at the bottom where signed by the claimants legal rep.

        Thanks

As you haven't posted the template detailing all the claim I can't tell you the address of the claimant, but google them and send the CCA there if this is for a loan or credit card, don't forget the £1 fee and to mark the cheque/postal order with "CCA 1974 STATUTORY FEE ONLY."

Send a copy of the CCA along with the CPR to the address on the form, no fee.

Keep copies of everything for your own records.
