  • Apple .....

I have an ongoing issue with my phone which concerned Virgin and Apple, I took Virgin to and Ombudsman which found them (virgin) not a fault so I then, after much time, got intouch with Apple Legal department that will only speak with me over a phone call and will not put anything in writing. They call it "Email support" - even thought I have asked for a deadlock letter and to take them to an ombudsman or similar, however, they are refusing to speak with me unless a phone call.

Can anyone help? Can Apple do this? Should I speak with them and record the conversation?

It depends what the actual issue with the phone is?

I have always found Apple's Customer Service to be brilliant, so quite surprised you'd get to this impasse.

Customer service aside, I would consider that to be unfair but you only have two choices which is to pursue it further by commencing legal action or calling them and find out what they want to say. If you do call them then I would absolutely record the call so you have a record, including any subsequent calls made.

You could also ask why they are refusing to put anything in writing and that gives you cause for concern particularly as it is a simple request which you would like to maintain as records in the event that the dispute continues.

Depending on the issue actually depends on who is at fault/responsible as Jaguar has said.
