Awww enaid, what a nightmare for you!! I really hope everything is sorted for you soon...it is so stressful moving, I was 9 days from giving birth to baby Crash when we moved...and we took 3 hours to get our bloody three seater sofa through the door!! I can think back and laugh at it now, but it wasn't funny at the time!!

Good luck with everything and fingers crossed, no more pitfalls from now on!!

    Hugs,

    Crash

        Okidoki house move complete.
Yesterday went to the house to make sure all was removed (as you recall left this operation to the 2 males in the family, so a check was needed).
On arrival noticed several items missing from the garden, ie every pot with plants in roughly 20, the chairs from the back garden and the lawn mower, strimmer and garden tools. Spotted 2 of the chairs in the front garden of the lovely family opposite When I challenged her about them she said "the kids had been using them in the garden" so I said "Oh you just borrowed them then" "yes" said she. We should have called the police I know scum bags like that should get what they deserve, they actually said they thought that we had left and when we told them it was not council property they said "sorry" As if it was ok to enter the garden anyway. I know we should have taken it further but I was upset anyway about leaving the house (don't ask me why) I just couldn't be bothered going through the police thing.
Went to pick Tilly (our daughter) up from the day centre for the last time. Once again I'm in floods of tears, as are some of the staff. She got some lovely pressies and some very nice comments and loads of good luck.
So that's another chapter in our families life closed, 22 years is some chapter, just hope all is well for the next 22. The End lol enaid xx

Hope it all goes well Di, you deserve it. Are you settling in okay in the new place now, getting everything sorted. Where will Tilly be going now, is she starting at a new day centre? That will be an adsvenure for her too.
          Is no longer here

Thanks, I am trying my best to settle in. Feel as though I am studying at university learning all this new gadget stuff lol. Just had a lovely trip to Bolton market loads of fresh fruit and veg (and fish but not for me yuck). Lovely lunch paid for by MIL so the days are improving. Got my bedroom tv going so the nights will be improving too lol. Cheers for caring Enaid xx
