    LB Dating - Just an idea

    Just wondering what the rest of you thought about having an area in the VIPsection for single LB members to meet and chat... well you guys know the rest.

    Reason why, is because trying to find a similar minded individual in my neck of the woods (north Yorkshire - yes thats a hint) is like trying to find a devon based diary cow up on the moors on a joy ride with the sheep.
    Any way without going in to reasons other than to say family issues (family comes first - not some "aww but i wanna holiday"), i have been single a few months now.

    So i figured here we all meet alot of people and some in person and make life time friends, so why not have a section in VIP for those of us that are lonely hearts?

    What do you guys/girls thing?

    P.S was meant to be a poll but can't see the option so if site could add one for simple yes or no answer, id appreciate it, thank you

    ohh and if you live in Nigeria and or from another country and stuck in Africa cos loss/stolen passport etc etc - F*ck off

      Well Teaboy, I wish you well and personally have no objection to a Lonely Hearts corner.
      But as it doesn't really affect me I'll vote No/Yes (delete as desired)

      (tho' OH would probably have something to say if she caught me scanning any post)

          hahaha yesss,, but for totally the wrong reasons...

          I live in coastal Lincolnshire.. its easy enough round here. you end up tripping over it at the weekend, although, quantity, not necessarily quality. But hay, after a few wines, its volume you want.. lol

                Personally I'm more of an advocate of getting to know peeps naturally, rather than advertise for them , lol , and the lamp post is a place to natter generally - as is Stags Pants - people could quite often do with a chinwag and a laugh while dealing with the stresses of life in the more formal forums, and its a good way to get to know people.

                    Personally I'm more of an advocate of getting to know peeps naturally,
                    in coastal lincs, some weekends, just remembering a name would be good, that's what you would consider natural round here

                    My motto, better to do it and regret it, that to regret not trying it.( i truly dont want to be 75, wishing that i got up to more shenanigans ) . and being a man, if you make to much of a mistake, you can just blindly deny it.

                      Well thanks everyone for the support - I suppose at 33 (nearly 34) i still got plenty of time to find someone - Though not in this town, as even though am sure they are some lovely ladies in this town, most are just interested in money and having the easy life.

                      Nice to know am not the only singleton here though.

                      As for the going out an pulling with beer goggles on, oh i once woke up next to what looked like mount Everest under the bed sheets lol

                            one of the nicest and most genuine birds i dealt with was a larger lady, i only took her home so my mate could pull her mate. I had a fabulous year with that one, sometime playing luck dip you can end up better than if you would have picked

                            I suppose at 33 (nearly 34) i still got plenty of time to find someone
                            i wouldn't limit yourself to one, but, am also probably not the best person to ask an opinion about relationships,

                              Hey, Teaboy, you are only 33! Not exactly on the shelf. I was 28 by the time I met my OH and he was 34. Ah, those were the days when I had a broad mind and a narrow waist. Now I have to pretend I am someone else in our more ‘intimate’ moments. (And I do mean moments!)
                              I think this is a good idea because as Amethyst said you get to know people through chatting online etc. and that is good as your first impression is not based on the shortness of a girl’s skirt or the size of a blokes ….car. When you see some online dating sites advertised on TV they can look a bit sickly but I do think it is a good way to meet people. I did have to laugh though when CC referred to us females as ‘birds’. Nice to know things haven’t changed since I was ‘out there’!

                              An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
