I hope I don't get into trouble with admin for opening this thread, however I would like to open a general chat with peoples concerns about the upcoming referendum.
I live in Scotland and I am not ashamed to say I am confused! There are far too many questions in my head. As I am on this site I will focus on my financial concerns and lets face it, that is very important to us all.
There has been a lot of debate about whether Scotland would be able to keep the pound however what about things like accounts, eg. mortgages, credit cards, etc. If the company in question is based in England (or vice versa) and you live in Scotland would that mean that we would be dealing with companies technically from a different country - what impact would that have?
From being a member on this site for a few years now I understand how different the legal system can be in England to Scotland. Scotland has its own say on many things, do we really need to be independent? I see all the time in the news about the awful things that are happening in this world and people being killed meaninglessly. I personally feel we should be proud to be neighbours and live in peace and harmony together. Anything less than that is taking a backward step in history.
