So I have now put in all my raised planters. I have 4 1m x 1m planters
      This year I am planting:
Grench Beans, Mangetout, Corn, Peas, Tomatoes, cauliflower, broccili, parsnips, carrots, cabbage, various salad leaves, cucumber, onions, garlic, potatoes, spring onions, radish, beetroot, strawberries and a jam packed herb garden!

My neighbours hate me, I had 1 tonne of compost delivered and 1 tonne of manure delivered on saturday.

Anyone else sorting theirs out yet?

Not doing too bad, totally taken over the greenhouse and garden.
What was going to be a limited production, has gone bananas (that's about the only thing I haven't got growing at the moment!)
I've been introduced the the Jiffy 7, it's a compost pocket, (compost with a little bag round it.) a tiny thing untill put in warm water, the affect is almost pornografic. The seed is put in a little hole on top, and magical things happen.
I did some seeds in these things, put them on a south facing window sill, 36 hours later there were tiny little plants peeping out.
So now 400 Jiffys later, I've got Lettuce, Pak Choi, 6 different peppers, Peas, Cabbages, Sprouts, Cauliflowers, Squashes, Melons, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Asparagus, Garlic even a few Sunflowers out the bird food! Oh...and the Basil, corriander, Dill, Parsley....etc.
And we've already been munching the Rocket.

And of course Cat grass. (grass for Cats to eat, nothing exciting!)

These jiffys are very small, you can put them in the gaps between your pots!

                Hi peed,

I would pot them up in a pot twice the size of the rootball. keep them out of any frost and keep them well watered.

I have my summer hanging baskets planted up already, they are taking shelter in one of the bedrooms for the next two months.

Can I plant daffodils now (in pots) ? or is that stupid ? only cause I happen to have a box of bulbs. also have some carrot seeds lol.

Any ideas what to do with a 12ft x 6ft slab of concrete called a garden ? has to involve rabbit hutch and gorgeous white cast iron table and chairs lol. If I could afford it I'd deck the lot and have a big tub planted just with grass and daisys, and my camellia bush in a pot, and my jasmine bush (bit dinky but getting there). Oh has to fit the black wheely bin in too, and the kids scooters lol.

Come on Cel, use your imagination !

booo hooo I used to love my garden. lol.

yes plant daffs in pots right now, I have loads some indoor some on the patio and lots in the beds. If you want to do veg Ame on your slabs, get some heavy duty black bags from B&Q fill them with soil/compast and let a few spuds go to seed, when they have eyes flick all but two eyes off and stick them in the bags and 10 weeks you have spuds.
