I am going for a job interview on Friday with the company I already work for.
At the moment I am a relief worker, covering sickness, maternity, vacancies etc. Although I am meant to cover about 100 properties I only get shifts at one place as I love it there and find enough shifts. Until now I have never applied for a permanent position as the shift patterns are awful for me and I find enough work there doing shifts I like.
Anyway, a position has come up that is not involved in shifts.
Not only that, it is doing the best parts of what I already do.
I have been lead to believe that the job will be mine as management love my work, know I can do it etc. And I am now doing the job until it is filled. Unless I mess up completely or someone else has done this work before, I will be okay - I hope!
The problem is the interview.
It will be a day thing with 5 others who have also applied (to see how we interact with eachother) and three interviewers (two of which are managers at the place, so I know them)
I'm okay with that, but the actual face to face on my own with the interviewers I am fearful about!
It is done on a 'even though we know you we can only use what you tell us here' and at some point I will be asked if I have any questions.
I can't think of any!!!
As I am doing the job, what questions could I have that I haven't already asked? I won't really know any problems until they arise. I know holiday, sickness, pay etc as they were on the application form.
I don't want to look as though I know it all, but at the same time I don't want to look as though I don't know something I should!
This job means a lot to me, I know I can do it and I know my enthusiasm and experiance would be good in the role.
Help!! Please
