SYP have been good to PC Brent's word, we have had our local bobbies drivig by and checking things out! Quite useful as the numpties on illegal motorbikes (no tax, insurance, licence, helmet or regard for legitimate bikers safety) have been turning a rather fetching shade of OH CRAP white when faced with white cars with blue lights and the word POLICE written on them

Methinks the words Your Nicked son have been said a few times this w-end!

Also, had a lovely surprise this morning, opened the street door to let Dumb Cat in, and saw an envelope in the Dog Proof box on the front of the door, the sign has a ridgeback on it and I can reach the gate in 0.25 seconds, can you? msl:

We used to have one on our wall with Sod the dogs, beware of the cat!

Now thats a thought, he never said anything about not feeding them to the cat!

I dont know if it is still the case but the deal with an agewncy I used to work for ; who solicted for the wildlife trusts, took the first two years donations and then the charity git money . The other deal was that the agency got 30% of all the money it took . The latter is more useful for charities as I understand that over 70% of DD donations dont alst 24 months .

I do know there are very strict rules governing the use of outside agencies by registered charities, seduraed. However, because the charity I am involved with is a small charity, we don't come up against these rules. It is mainly the larger charities who use them.
