Over the years, I have moved away from organised religion in the belief that it is largely symbolism for the kind of beliefs you express, BB. In fact, my vague beliefs seem to be very similar to yours - is there a particular 'name' to your set of beliefs ? I would seriously like to look further.

Like yourself, Bill, I have moved away from organised religion having realised that it is not all it is cracked-up to be. A friend of mine is a psychic - he is clairvoyant and clairsentient - and has done the same. I am clairaudient and clairsentient. Both of us do Tarot and Angel readings.

The beliefs I follow are closely related to Spiritualism, which a lot of psychics and mediums are attracted to and develop their psychic gifts and talents. I am not a medium, although it does say "Extra Large" on the label inside my top! LOL!

Another psychic encouraged me to go to a Spiritualist church and I am glad I did because I finally accepted why I have always had the feeling I am different, why I have always been able to sense something isn't right and instinctively know what is the right thing to do.

Over the past few days, I have been doing Tarot and Angel readings and a lot of those whom I have done readings for have had health issues which they didn't know about or have career changes coming in the next eight months that will enable them to follow the calling they were put here to follow as their life-purpose. One was a self-employed person who has a lucrative contract coming their way in the next 3-6 months. Another has an opportunity coming in the next 6-8 months to become self-employed and needs to grab the opportunity when it comes with both hands.

I've just done a reading for you and I'll PM it to you.

      BB

          dont be!

i read this to Kez and he said to tell you, the inuit (his late fiance was an inuit) believe that when your body is finished your spirit is carried on the back of a white wolf to the peak of the largest mountain in Manitoba, and the reason that wolves howl at the moon is because She guides the spirits there, the howl is calling the moon to say there is a spirit on the way!

He says that the angel of death idea is in that religion too, and that her name is Kah Tah (no alphabet in Invikidu so you write how its said) and she is the shepherdess of the souls!

There is an excellent book called 'The Spirit Molecule' by Dr Rick Strassman. It talks about the 'pineal' gland, a little investigated gland in the brain which produces a chemical just one molecule different to seratonin, a chemical well known to anyone who has ever suffered mild or serious depression.

It is a book I would heartily recommend to anyone interested in the transition between life and death, whether or not they be religious. It is serious, and quite a slog in places, but a very very informative work.
