Am currently watching Esther Rantzen and some other woman on BBC news about left handed people, and this has come up before on another forum that I frequent. So I am interested to know if there are any others of us that are left handed on here?
I am, it has gone through the generations in my family, I know that my maternal grandfather is, my mum's brother was, and I am. Don't know of any others in the family though.
My teachers did try to force me to write with my right hand, but my mum gave them a blasting and that soon stopped, by the time I got to secondary school, that had stopped and they left to me write how I wanted.
But being brought up in a right handed world I have learned to do most things right handed, I cannot knit or crochet. And being left handed got me out of being trained for the sign writer job at B&Q (can't do it cos of the ink/paint getting smudged)
I am not one of those left handed people that has my hand in a strange disjointed position while writing though.
So am I alone or are there more uf us? :slayer:
