    Re: DAY 12

It seems to me, based on fairly limited self taught knowledge, that the County Courts will, unfortunately, simply continue to stay/ sist. They will take the hint from the judges statement. There will not be a quick resumption.

No-one should get their hopes up that the stays will be lifted in advance of the judgement. However much we might want or wish it to happen, it simply will not.

I sincerely hope I am wrong!!

Unfortunately I think you are right.

Logically the instruction to the courts could never have been given till judgment anyway. To do so would be too strong an indication of the judges 'initial impression' of the case.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

I'd say it was bad reporting, I don't recall Smith ever saying he would visit the County Court element after the hearing closed. His comments related to judgment being given and making a recommendation regardless of any appeals.

The BBC have simply spun it as it allowed them to have a couple of stories that's all.
